When you book with Jaguar Cricket Ltd, these Terms and Conditions define the agreement between us and let you know what to expect from Jaguar Cricket and what we expect from you.
Bookings made online or by telephone will be confirmed by email. A booking is confirmed when we receive the full amount of the booking and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Jaguar Cricket Ltd accepts payment via cash and bank transfer. We do not accept payment by cheque, American Express or PayPal. All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking. Booking is not complete and a space is not reserved until payment is made in full.
Reserve dates pending county selection can be booked directly via bookings@jaguarcricket.co.uk
You can move your dates within the same season (e.g. summer), subject to availability, provided you do so more than 7 days from first camp date (it is not possible to move or add dates within 7 days). When moving days, if the current day price is greater than the original price paid (e.g. if you originally booked on an offer price) you will be charged the difference. You can also add additional days to your booking and will be charged at current price. Please contact us at bookings@jaguarcricket.co.uk if you wish to move your dates to another season: if the desired season is not yet on sale, we will hold the balance in credit on your account. Please note prices may increase from one season to the next.
If you give us at least 28 days’ notice before the camp date(s) you would like to cancel, we will refund all monies paid, if you give us less than 28 days’ notice before the date(s) you would like to cancel, no refund is available.
It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that all details provided are accurate, including medical and other special educational needs, and emergency contact information. If we do not have all this information before camp starts, your children will not be allowed to attend the camp.
Jaguar Cricket requires that all children who are ill or infectious be kept home for the full duration of their ailment, and for 48 hours after the last symptom occurs. Jaguar Cricket will not administer medication.
In the event of an accident, a trained first aider will administer first aid if required to children in our care, and the emergency services will be called if necessary.
Jaguar Cricket has a clear and strict philosophy, that is one of inclusivity and support. The environment created at the camps is crucial to our commitment to providing the best cricket camps on offer. If any coach running any camp feels as though any attendee is compromising the values and expectations that are clearly laid out in the registration form and in various places throughout the website (www.jaguarcricket.co.uk) then the coaches are at liberty to follow our behaviour procedure.
The company follows a zero-tolerance policy on discrimination, bullying and persistent poor behaviour of any kind, irrespective of any special needs. On rare occasions, and in more serious cases, we reserve the right to ask parents to remove children from camp either for the remainder of the day (part exclusion), or for the rest of the camp, or the rest of the season (full exclusion). No refund will be made for any remaining days booked, and any costs associated with the exclusion will be the parents’ responsibility. In these rare cases, the parent/carer will be expected to come and collect their child.
Our drop off time is between 0915 and 0930am. We are unable to provide childcare or supervision of your child before 0915 on the morning of the camp. Please do not leave your child unattended before then. The coaches have a morning briefing each morning until 0915, this is a crucial aspect of the smooth running of each day, if you arrive early, please wait with your child and do not interrupt the meeting.
Pick-up is between 1515 and 1530pm. All children MUST be collected before 1530 (unless timings are otherwise specified at time of booking). If for any reason you are unable to collect by 1530pm, we ask that you call the Lead Coach as soon as possible. A member of the coaching team will wait with your child until they are collected. You will be charged a late pick-up fee of £20 for every 10 minutes to cover the additional staffing cost. If we have no contact from a parent/guardian by 4pm, we will contact Social Services to advise them we have an uncollected child. We reserve the right to refuse future bookings from parents who continually pick up late.
If a child is not attending a scheduled day on camp, parents/carers must telephone the Camp Manager or Head Office to allow us to update records
While we endeavour to go through with every camp that is advertised, in some rare occasions we may need to change venues at late notice or cancel a camp for reasons within or outside our control. We reserve the right to do this, however we will try to ensure that the new venue is as close as possible to the original one and as much notice is given as possible.
We aim to ensure that every camp advertised goes ahead, even in the event of adverse weather conditions. Only in exceptional circumstances will a camp be cancelled or rearranged due to an extreme forecast. It is worth noting that in the event of rain, we are still likely to run outdoor activities and your child should be sent to the camp with a towel and spare clothing. In these circumstances, the camp’s original program may be amended and we may not be able to offer all activities, such as video analysis. Please note that on these occasions – no form of refund will be available.
All your child’s personal property is your responsibility and Jaguar Cricket is not liable for any lost or damaged property on camp. If you believe that your child has left an item on camp, please contact info@jaguacricket.co.uk who will do their best to assist you. Lost property will be placed with the lost property section of the venue and so subject to the lost property policy of the venue they are left with.
Mobile phones are allowed on camp and may be used during the allocated breaks. They are the players responsibility and Jaguar Cricket is not responsible for any damages that incur while your child is in our care.
All children in our care are covered by our Public Liability Insurance.
Photography and filming play a large role in the camps, during video analysis activities and for our Social Media channels. You have the option to opt of our photo consent in your registration form, however please be aware that this will devalue what Jaguar Cricket can offer and any child without photo / video consent will not be able to take part in these activities.
